Mr. Mallory is an Associate at BAI. He received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from the University of Vermont.
Since joining BAI in 2025, Mr. Mallory has been involved with various electric regulatory and wholesale design issues. These have included resource adequacy & economics, transmission project need & alternatives, rate and demand response program comparisons, integrated resource and energy efficiency plans, wholesale market modifications, transmission cost analysis, and advise on wholesale market transactions.
Prior to entering the consulting field, Mr. Mallory was employed by Washington Electric Cooperative for six years as a Resource Planner and Director of Planning & Regulation, managing power contracts and rate increase filings. He then worked for over 27 years as a Senior Analyst, NEPOOL/ISO-NE Market Operations Liaison and Senior Project Manager where he supervised accounting changes due to the creation of wholesale markets, represented the company and its owner utilities in the New England Power Pool and ISO-NE stakeholder advisory forums ensuring the market rules/charges, transmission tariffs, and FERC compliance changes were negotiated in an appropriate & sustainable manner and understood by the owning utilities. He has managed numerous transmission line and substation projects from planning requirements through construction while creating empowered teams, reducing permitting and public relations concerns, and completing the work safely and under budget.
Mr. Mallory has been awarded the designation of a Project Management Professional (“PMP”) by the Project Management Institute.
